OnePlus today started rolling out the OxygenOS 3.2.2 update for the OnePlus 3. The update comes less than 3 weeks after the company rolled out the OxygenOS 3.2.1 update for the handset with bug fixes.
The latest build of OxygenOS also fixes a number of bugs with the OS, including the dreaded aggressive Doze mode that led to many apps not properly pushing out notifications. A nice addition in this update is the fingerprint scanner being disabled when the phone is in pocket, which should greatly reduce the number of false and accidental scans that occur while taking the handset out of the pocket.
The 271MB update also contains the July security patch level.
-
Improved notification management in doze.
-
Addressed alert slider/silent mode issue.
-
Disabled fingerprint sensor while in pocket.
-
Added NFC toggle in quick settings.
-
Improved noise cancellation in video recording.
-
Updated 4K video recording codec.
-
Added latest security patches and various optimizations.
The OTA update is being rolled out in stages and should make its way to your OnePlus 3 within a couple of weeks.
