Oppo is scheduled to unveil the Oppo N3 in Singapore on October 29th. To create hype and interest around the device though, the company has been steadily teasing it via its various social media accounts.
Today, the company took to Weibo to reveal that the N3 will feature a 16MP camera with a 1/2.3-inch sensor and dual LED flash. This is the same sensor size that the Xperia Z2 and Z3 pack. For comparison’s sake, the Galaxy S5 and Note 4 feature a 1/2.6-inch sensor, while the iPhone 6, 6 Plus and HTC One M8 feature a 1/3.0-inch sensor.
A bigger sensor will allow the N3 camera to absorb more light, which should result in more details and light being captured especially in low-light.
In the past, Oppo had revealed that the N3 will be made of lithium alloy and will feature the same 206-degrees rotating camera module as its predecessor. Other rumored specs of the device include a 5.9-inch display, a Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM.
