Tired of looking for an invite to buy the OnePlus One? Well, months after its initial unveiling, the handset will finally go on pre-order from October 27th.

OnePlus had initially revealed its plans of setting up a pre-order system for the One way back in August in an AMA on Reddit. Up until now, the only way to purchase the OnePlus One was to first get hold of an invite by participating in their various competitions or by pestering your nerdy friend to get hold of one for you.

Since there will be quite a bit of rush to pre-order the handset once the system goes live, OnePlus suggests you to be prepared in advance by setting up your OnePlus account, adding the device and its discounted accessories to your cart and filling in your billing and shipping address. Since the payments will be processed via PayPal, OnePlus also recommends to make sure that your information is up to date there.

There is another catch though: The pre-orders will only be open for an hour on October 27th. If you do end up pre-ordering the device and receive an invite later on, you can always use it to skip to the front of the queue and get your One shipped instantly.
