Towards the end of last week, Amazon India teased the launch of the OnePlus One in India. Today, the retailer has provided more information about the launch of the device in India, and has also explained how the India specific invite system would work.
If you are interested in purchasing the OnePlus One in India, you should head over to Amazon India’s page for the handset, or to OnePlus.net/in to register for a chance to win an invite, and be among the first 1000 customers who would be able to order the device on December 2nd. The online retailer has also explained in the same page how the India specific invites and the order system for the One will work.
OnePlus is also holding an event in Delhi, India on December 2nd to officially launch the device. Neither Amazon nor OnePlus have revealed the official price of the handset in India. The company will only be selling the 64GB Sandstone Black variant of the device in India for the time being though.
For its price of $349, the OnePlus One offers a stellar value for money especially for the hardware it sports, including a Snapdragon 801 processor, a 5.5-inch JDI display in the front, a 13MP f/2.0 rear camera, 3GB RAM and more. Even though the device and the company have had their fair share of controversy, they have done exceedingly well and have already managed to sold half a million units of their devices.
