For OnePlus One owners that have been suffering through some minor, albeit annoying bugs, OnePlus has just announced a new over the air (OTA) update that will hopefully help.

OnePlus has officially announced the CM 11S 44S OTA update, and that it has begun its slow rollout process on November 7. While OnePlus does say the update is out now, they also note that the rollout will take some time, and it might be a couple of days before every unit out there in wild gets the new software. This new software is built specifically to squash bugs and improve performance, including an update to the touchscreen firmware, and resolving the SSLv3 POODLE security issue.

Here’s the full breakdown:

  • Fixed issues with memory causing screen artifacts
  • Fixed issues with random reboots and instability
  • Fixed issues with WiFi and modem crashes
  • Fixed issues with Filesystem
  • Fixed issues with “black bar”
  • Fixed issues with persist partition corruption
  • Fixed issues with AT&T VoLTE
  • The update is rolling out now, but the process will take some time. If you own a One, make sure to keep an eye on your handset over the next few days. Hopefully the weekend means the present of new software for your device.
