OnePlus offered a pre-order for the One in October, but unfortunately it didn’t go over so well for quite a few customers. So, the company is giving it another shot.
It’s been known for quite some time that OnePlus would be holding another short pre-order period for its flagship Android handset, the One, on November 17. Now, the company has outlined a few details for the event, including when, exactly, it will start, and just what potential customers will have to do to get a device lined up.
On November 17, OnePlus is going to open the floodgates for pre-orders for the One. It will begin at 8:00am PST/11:00am ET/16:00 GMT, and it will last for only one hour. During that time, if there is a OnePlus One in stock when you place the order, the device will ship out immediately. However, if there isn’t any stock left, the order will quickly switch to a pre-order. In that situation, your device will ship out to you when there is stock available, but you won’t be charged until that date.
OnePlus will also give their accessories a “deep discount” when you bundle them with the purchase of your One.
OnePlus seems convinced that this time around will go differently, so for anyone who has been eagerly awaiting picking up a One, this could very well be the time to do it. Do you plan on trying to get one?
