OnePlus has announced the launch date for the upcoming OnePlus 7T. The company has chosen September 26th as the unveiling date. OnePlus will host an “online reveal of the OnePlus 7T in North America” while the “OnePlus 7T Series Launch Event” will take place on October 10.
OnePlus started its journey as a flagship killer and the smartphone has managed to stay that way. In the recent past, OnePlus flagships have become more expensive, however, the smartphone still manages to offer great value. It is worth noting that the company is expected to launch OnePlus TV in India. OnePlus is likely to launch the TV in India first before launching in other regions.
Meanwhile, the rumor mills have already hinted at a Full HD+ display with 90Hz Optic AMOLED display. In other words, the 90Hz display from the OnePlus 7 Pro will make it to the OnePlus 7T. This makes sense especially since Pete Lau had confirmed a more affordable OnePlus smartphone with 90Hz display. Now OnePlus has officially confirmed 90Hz display on OnePlus 7T.
Moving on, the OnePlus 7T series is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus and will feature an upgraded triple rear camera unit. An earlier leak had revealed that OnePlus will increase the battery capacity to 4,080mAh and will feature Warp Charge 30W. As mentioned earlier, OnePlus is slowly climbing the charts when it comes to pricing. What started out as an affordable Android phone with class-leading specs was no longer affordable with the launch of OnePlus 7 Pro. In all likelihood, OnePlus is changing this by introducing a feature-laden OnePlus 7T at a much affordable price tag.
