After confirming that the OnePlus 6 will come with a notch display design, OnePlus has teased the launch of the handset on its Twitter account. The teaser confirms that the upcoming handset will be called as the OnePlus 6, though not that anyone had any doubt regarding this.
A couple of OnePlus 6 photos have already leaked and rumors have given us a good idea of what to expect from it. This includes a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6/8GB RAM, a vertically placed dual-camera setup at the rear with the fingerprint scanner located below it, up to 256GB of storage, and more.

The improved specs of the OnePlus 6 will give the company an excuse to further raise the price of the handset by a slight margin.
If the teaser is anything to go by, the OnePlus 6 will be all about speed. That’s not surprising since even previous OnePlus handsets are known for their excellent performance.
Knowing OnePlus, the company will tease the launch of the handset for at least a few weeks before it gets around to unveiling it. If rumors are anything to go by, the OnePlus 6 will likely be unveiled in late-April or early May. That’s slightly earlier than usual for OnePlus which has usually launched a new smartphone around June-July every year.
Are you looking forward to the release of the OnePlus 6? What are your expectations from the handset?
