With the imminent launch of the OnePlus 5, the Never Settle company today announced that it will stop selling the OnePlus 3T. The company notes that it has limited stocks of the handset in its warehouse in Europe and UK and once it runs out, it will not be restocking the handset.
OnePlus, however, reassures that with its merged software platform, it will continue rolling out software updates to both OnePlus 3 and 3T regularly. And thanks to its Beta Program, it has also been able to improve the quality of its software update and implement user feedback.
While OnePlus has not confirmed the launch date of the OnePlus 5, the handset is expected to launch next month. The company has already confirmed that the 5 will come with a Snapdragon 835 chipset and feature improved touch latency. OnePlus is also working with DxOMark to ensure that the 5 offers a great camera experience.
Rumors surrounding the handset suggest that it would come with a dual-camera setup at the rear along with 6/8GB RAM. Sadly though, the handset is expected to cost a bit more than the OnePlus 3T which might not go down well with the company’s loyal fan base.
Are you looking forward to the OnePlus 5?
