As warned earlier, OnePlus today announced a price hike for the OnePlus 3 in the United Kingdom. The move comes due to the Pound losing its value against the USD, especially after the surprising Brexit move.
Starting from July 11, 2016 (i.e. next week), the OnePlus 3 will cost £329 in the United Kingdom — up from its current price of £309. If you have been planning on buying the OnePlus 3 but have kept delaying it, I’d suggest you to grab the handset at its existing price by ordering it within this week. The increase is only limited to the handset itself, and not the official OnePlus 3 accessories that the company sells.
Despite the price increase, the OnePlus 3 remains one of the best phones that you can buy under £350-400 in the United Kingdom. Not only does the handset sport top-notch internals — a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED, Snapdragon 820 @ 2.15GHz, 6GB RAM, 16MP camera with OIS, its software has also matured over a year to offer a stable and near Nexus-like experience.
The price increase should not really deter you from buying this great phone, but in case it does, you still have the option of buying it at its current price until the end of this week.
