HTC teased the imminent arrival of something with “more beautiful curves” on Twitter yesterday. It was open to discussion as to what this device would be. Some suggested it would be a tablet, while others believed it was the company’s long expected Android Wear smartwatch. But it seems like this is nothing but the One M8 Ace, which is expected to be a polycarbonate/plastic variant of the One M8.
The leak also comes with the alleged press image of the smartphone, showing the back in its entirety revealing plenty of curves. Interestingly, the device seems to be missing the Duo Camera from the One M8 which received mixed reviews from experts. (https://lsu79.org/) Another noticeable aspect of the smartphone is the placement of the power button, which is now on the top instead of the side, indicating that the device might be slightly smaller than the One M8.
It is possible that HTC has decided against the dual camera setup and stuck with the conventional single camera layout, possibly with a 13-megapixel sensor. Other details regarding the device are scarce right now, but we expect the Ace to break cover anytime soon given that the company teased its arrival yesterday.
