We’re less than 60 hours away from Samsung’s press conference in Berlin on September 4th. It’s already been confirmed that the Galaxy Note III and Galaxy Gear smartwatch will be announced there. The smartwatch is a bit of a mystery, despite the leak that happened over the weekend. The Note III on the other hand, almost everything there is to know about the device is already known.
What you’re looking at above is a photo of what’s allegedly the Note III. To my surprise, it’s really square, even more so than the Galaxy S4. Could this be a sign of Samsung’s future design language? Focusing on what actually matters, the guts, you can expect to see a Snapdragon 800 inside, 3GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera, and a big battery, something crazy like 3,500 mAh.

And while we’re on the topic of Galaxy Note III leaks, the world’s most famous leaker, Evan Blass (@evleaks), leaked the Note III wallpaper over the weekend. It’s a seven megabyte 1920 x 1920 photo of random brush strokes. It’s pretty, and has me hoping that Samsung have somehow figured out to make their AMOLED panels reproduce colors more accurately.
When will you be able to buy the Note III? If this leak is to be believed, in two weeks.
