Following in the footsteps of HTC and Motorola, Nvidia has also gone ahead and confirmed that it would be updating its Nvidia Shield tablet to Android 5.0 Lollipop “and more.”

The company, however, does not explicitly mention as to what it means by “more” here.

The Nvidia Shield tablet is powered by the company’s own Tegra K1 processor, though it is the 32-bit version and not the 64-bit Denver variant that is found inside the Nexus 9.

Nvidia does not mention anything as to when Shield owners should expect the update to land on their device.

The company also did not confirm whether it will be bringing Android 5.0 Lollipop to its handheld gaming console — the Nvidia Shield portable or not.
