Nova Launcher, one of the most popular third-party launchers on the Play Store, has received a major update to v4.0 today.
This is the first major stable release of Nova Launcher in 8 months and after numerous beta and alpha releases. There are quite a bunch of new goodies present in this update, including a Material Design makeover, more animations, updated launcher code and more.

The developer had rolled out most of the features mentioned above to the beta channel of the app back in March itself. The final version does contain two new features compared to the beta though: a new Circle app animation and three new wallpapers.
Do keep in mind that you will need to buy the paid unlocker of the launcher to access all the customisation features offered by it.
