When it comes to imaging, the Note II in my pocket is pretty terrible. It’s worse that my old phone, the iPhone 4, and while at first this upset me, I’ve come to accept it and have simply stopped taking as many pictures. Shame, I know, but that might change later if I buy a Galaxy Note III this fall.
According to the Dutch site SIM Only, not only will the third generation Note come with a 13 megapixel camera, likely the same one as found in the GS4, but it’ll also feature a Xenon flash and a dedicated shutter key. Now I don’t know about you, but I find this incredibly hard to believe. The technology to squeeze Xenon into a thin form factor is there, flat capacitors can already be found in phones like the Nokia Lumia 928, but to shove that inside a Galaxy Note?
The site also claims to know the other specs of the device, many we’ve already heard numerous times before: 5.7″ 1080p screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 2 GB of RAM, yadda yadda.
How long until we find out if SIM Only is right? Less than two months.
