NordVPN’s cybersecurity feature, Threat Protection Pro™, has been recognized as one of the most effective tools for combating fake online shopping scams. This recognition comes from an independent test conducted by AV-Comparatives, a leading testing lab in the cybersecurity industry.

Out of 35 solutions tested, NordVPN’s Threat Protection Pro™ ranked third, proving its ability to safeguard users from the ever-growing threat of fraudulent e-commerce sites.

The rise of fraudulent online shops

Fake shopping websites have become a significant concern for consumers worldwide. These sites often mimic legitimate e-commerce platforms with professional designs, fake customer reviews, and enticing discounts to lure unsuspecting shoppers.

Once payments are made, the fraudulent sites disappear without delivering the purchased goods, leaving consumers at a loss. Recognizing this, NordVPN has prioritized the development of robust features to protect its users from such scams.
