It has been quite some time since we last heard about the incoming Nokia 9, but here are one day away from the end of 2018 and the phone has resurfaced.
In two separate instances, we’ve got the Nokia 9 showing up and showing off a very unique camera design on the back of the handset. We’ve got the image that you can see at the top of this article, which was leaked by Evan Blass on Twitter today. That penta-lens camera design is certainly eye-catching, isn’t it? Those five cameras will apparently allow owners to take five simultaneous shots.
Otherwise, the Nokia 9 looks a lot like the Nokia 8 Sirocco in overall design. The display will reportedly measure in at 5.99 inches and be a “PureView” display, with a 2K resolution. It will support High Dynamic Range (HDR10) and boast an in-display fingerprint reader as well.
The secondary report from mysmartprice indicates the device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood, 128GB of built-in storage, and 6GB of RAM. We do know the cameras will be Zeiss optics, but otherwise the details remain a mystery. Still, we probably don’t have long to wait, considering we’re seeing a promotional video for the upcoming handset pop up.
You can watch that below.
So, five cameras on the back! That’s certainly something.
