The iconic Nokia 3310 is making a comeback today. HMB Global, the company that is now selling phones under Nokia’s brand name now, today relaunched the Nokia 3310. The handset has been updated to keep up with the times, but we are still talking about a feature phone here.
Gone is the monochrome screen that was found on the Nokia 3310. Instead, the new Nokia 3310 comes with a bigger 2.4-inch color screen. While the basic design of the handset remains the same as the original, Nokia/HMD Global has made the phone thinner, colourful and updated it to keep it more inline with 2017. It now features a camera at the rear and comes with many apps like Opera mini for browsing, Asphalt 6, Doodle Jump, and more.
The phone also comes with a bigger battery that allows the 3310 to provide up to 22 hours of talk time or up to 30 days of standby time. It will be available in a bunch of colors with hot-swappable shells.
Oh, and the phone also comes with Nokia’s iconic ringtone and the snake game. Nokia/HMD Global did not announce anything about the pricing and availability of the handset. It should be revealed in the coming few weeks, though.
