HMD Global, the company that is selling phones under the iconic Nokia brand, will reportedly unveil four phones at MWC in Barcelona later this month. Out of the four, one will be Nokia 6 which launched in China earlier this year.
The handset sports a 5.5-inch display, a Snapdragon 430 chipset, and 4GB RAM. Since its launch, the handset has been selling like hot cakes in China.
The other two phones will be called the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3. As the name suggests, both these phones will sit below the Nokia 6 in terms of specifications and features they pack. The Nokia 5 is rumored to come with a 5.2-inch 720p display, 2GB RAM, and a 12MP shooter. The downgraded specs translate into a lower price tag of €199, a €50 reduction from Nokia 6.
As for the Nokia 3, it will have a price tag of €149 and will sport even lower specs which remain unconfirmed for now. Both handsets will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
The most interesting device of the bunch, however, is going to be the Nokia 3310. The iconic handset was known for its indestructible build and week-long battery life, and HMD Global decision to bring the phone back is going to please many people. The handset will reportedly retail for €59. Considering the strong attachment that many people had with this phone, many are going to buy it just for the nostalgia. It is unclear if the handset will be launched widely or will be available in limited quantities only.
