Someone on Reddit by the name of “iopjklohyeah” (what’s wrong with people these days?) has shared images of what he claims is an actual conversation he had with an ASUS technical support employee. He asked said employee about the next Nexus 7, and the employee said it would ship in July, it’ll have a 7 inch 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution screen, it’ll be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 with 2 GB of RAM, it’ll have a 5 megapixel rear camera and 1.2 megapixel front camera, and it’ll even have 4G LTE support.

Should you believe “iopjklohyeah”? That’s up to you to decide. Nothing in the spec sheet he provided is terribly surprising. The only two pieces of information that are missing are price and availability. While I highly doubt that Google will be able to sell a tablet of this caliber for $199, I would be a little bit surprised to see it go for anything higher than $299.
