Frustrated about not being able to buy the Nexus 6 from the Play Store? Well here is some more bad news for you. According to an internal memo sent by T-Mobile to its employees and retail stores, the handset will be available in limited stocks and will only be sold in-store in selected stores.
Other stores that will not be receiving the Nexus 6 units will only be able to sell it via the carrier’s Ship-to Direct Fulfillment program.
T-Mobile is the first carrier in the United States that will be selling the Nexus 6. The device is also slated to be available on AT&T, Sprint and Verizon networks, though these carriers are yet to announce a concrete release date.
This is not the first time that Google is struggling to meet the demand for its Nexus device. The launch of the Nexus 4 back in 2012 was a complete disaster as the handset was out of stock for more than a month after being available on the Play Store for hardly a minute on its launch day.
