The Nexus 5 has been showing up everywhere — at the FCC, in a bar, and even on popular Apple forum MacRumors. The above photo, along with some commentary, was posted up by MacRumors member weespeed.
The forum poster said he was able to handle the phone for a few minutes and snapped a few photos of it. It is allegedly smaller than the G2, with a look and feel similar to the Nexus 7. It also has a decent, but not great display with small bezels. There’s an indistinguishable Nexus logo on the back.
Rounding out the details on the Nexus 5 is a new set of leaked specs including the following details:
- 5-inch Full HD display, 442 ppi (potentially 4.97-inch)
- 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snadragon 800 processor
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB storage (at least one model, other models have more)
- 8MP rear camera
- 1.2MP front camera
- Accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity, light, barometer, orientation sensors
- 2300mAh (via FCC) with wireless charging
- LTE, NFC connectivity
- LG-D820 model number
So what do you think? Are you excited for the Nexus 5?
