If you are a Nexus or a Google Play edition device owner, you must be waiting impatiently for that Android 5.0 Lollipop update to arrive.

Well the good news is that Google will be upgrading all the recent Nexus and GPe devices, including the Nexus 4 and the 2012 variant of the Nexus 7, to the latest version of Android.

The original announcement post from Google mentioned that only the Nexus 5, 7 (2013) and 10 will be getting the update to Lollipop. However, the company quickly updated its post to include the Nexus 4 as well — which is now nearly 2 years old.

As for when the OTA update will be available, Google’s announcement only states “in the coming weeks.”
