Nearly a fortnight ago, the Paranoid Android team released the preview build of v4.5 of their ROM that included a new Android L style recents app menu. Today, the team is rolling out another build that slightly tweaks the design of the L style Recents App and fixes some of the issues reported by users.

Below is the official change-log of the update:

New Recents Late Preview
– Improved performance a bit
– Lighter shadows
– Removed bottom recents label
– On-The-Spot selectable style for Recents (Stock/New)
– Code cleanup

General – 4.45 & 4.5 ALPHA 3
– Theme Engine upstream patches
– Misc fixes for our hidden battery feature
– Fix Hover icon size (fits QS Edit one now, a point more for UX)
– Some devices related low level misc fixes

The team also hinted that this would be the last preview build of its 4.5 release with the next build being tagged as a beta. The latest alpha builds are already live and can be downloaded from Paranoid Android’s download center.

Regarding its Android L release, the team’s lead design — Arz Bhatia — stated that the team would be working carefully on revamping all its features to match the new look of Android L.
