The new Nexus 7 is all but coming. The pricing of the tablet leaked hours ago, followed by which Google scheduled an Android event for July 24th. Now, the folks over at Android Central have managed to get their hands on the alleged pictures of the tablet, along with its full spec-sheet.
The new Nexus 7 is still made from ASUS, but looks much smarter with a complete glass slab like look in the front and sports a thinner bezel compared to its predecessor. Apart from pictures, the AC folks also have a video of the tablet in action – :
On the hardware side, the Android Central source suggests a Qualcomm APQ8064 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and 16/32GB of storage space. There is also a 1.2MP shooter in the front, and a 5MP in the back. Apparently, the tablet is also going to feature dual “upper and “lower” speakers situated on the top and bottom of the device respectively.
Google is expected unveil the new Nexus 7 along with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on July 24th at an event to be held in Mountain View.
