@evleaks, known for his spot-on leaks and the person responsible for giving many people sleepless nights in the mobile tech industry, has tweeted new press images of the Nexus 5 from LG. The press image does not reveal anything new but reinforce what we have already known.

The image shows off the ‘nexus’ logo on the back of the handset, similar to the one in the new Nexus 7. This new logo should definitely help in increasing the awareness of the Nexus brand among the general consumers. The image also shows of the enormously large camera lens hole, suggesting that Google and LG have laid emphasis on the camera performance this time.

The front of the device shows off the new launcher with transparent navigation and status bar and flatter looking icons.

Google was rumored to announce the new Nexus handset and Android 4.3 KitKat on October 28th. However, chances of any event happening tomorrow looks bleak with no press invites from Google going out yet.
