With less than 24 hours to go before HTC announces its next major flagship, you’d think the Taiwanese manufacturer would be taking additional measures to make sure the All New One doesn’t make yet another unofficial appearance. Alas, that doesn’t seem to be the case, as the new One (M8) has now made its way into a video comparing it to the original HTC One (M7).
The video goes into detail regarding the build quality, hardware and software on the new One, comparing each feature and hardware spec to that on the original One. There’s nothing here that we haven’t seen before, but for those still on the fence about the new One, it’s a good walkthrough that shows off how the device holds up against the older HTC One (hint: it’s a worthwhile upgrade) and against the competition (mainly the Galaxy S5 at this point.)
The All New HTC One sports a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM, 5-inch 1080p display, a 4-megapixel UltraPixel shooter at the back with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for 3D and focus shots, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB of inbuilt storage expandable via microSD slot, a 2,600 mAh battery, and the usual connectivity options. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with the latest version of Sense (6.0) on top.
