Just a month after Cyanogen Inc. released the Cyanogen OS 13.1 update for the OnePlus One, the team has released an incremental update carrying the build number ZNH2KAS254. The update seems to be primarily aimed at fixing bugs, though at 200MB, it does seem to be a bit too hefty to just contain bug fixes and stability improvements.

Since the official change log of the update is not yet available, it remains unknown what exactly this 200MB update fixes. Nonetheless, it is nice to see Cyanogen Inc. roll out regular software updates for a two-year old handset, especially after it has cut all its ties with the OEM of the phone.

The previous Cyanogen OS 13.1 update for the OnePlus One was a pretty big one as it introduced some major new features for the handset. This included support for Mods that lets you have your favorite features right where you want. For example, you can have your trending tweets show up on your lock screen with the Twitter mod. The update also added native integration for the Skype dialer in the Phone app thereby letting one make VoIP calls right from the stock dialer app.

Other notable changes included in the update were a new Hyperlapse mode for the camera, OneNote integration into the OS, and better Cortana integration.

Thanks for the tip, Alex!
