Google has given the official Gmail app for Android a couple of UI revamps in the last couple of years. Now, it looks like the company is working on a third major update for the app that brings minor UI tweaks along with some major new features to the table.

According to some leaked screenshots from Geek.com, the new Gmail app for Android is going to get some colors to brighten up the UI and additional tabs to categorize your emails into, including Finances, Travel and Purchases.

Another notable feature is the ability to pin an email in your inbox, which is probably going to replace the current system of starring an email. Google also plans on adding the ability to snooze an email, which will allow users to mark an email as read for a certain period of time before it once again marks itself as unread. The time period to snooze an email varies from a few hours to a few days or even weeks, along with the ability to snooze it repeatedly.

With Google also reportedly working on a new Camera app for Android, it looks like the company is all set to give all of its core Android apps a major revamp.
