Moto X4 official

Today, during IFA 2017, the Lenovo officially announced a series of new devices, including one new Moto X-series smartphone.

The Lenovo-owned Motorola has officially unveiled the Moto X4. It’s a mid-range handset with a premium build, featuring an anodized aluminum-equipped frame, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass on the front and back of the smartphone. One of its standout features is the inclusion of Amazon Alexa integration, which means Moto X4 owners will be able to use the digital personal assistant without unlocking their phone.

The specifications of the Moto X4 look like this: A 5.2-inch 1080p HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage. There are a pair of cameras on the back: A single 12-megapixel standard sensor, and one 8MP wide-angle camera. On the front, above the display, is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. There is a fingerprint reader below the display.

The Moto X4 also features a 3000mAh battery, NFC support, a microSD card slot, Android 7.1 Nougat, and a USB Type-C port. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Motorola will launch the Moto X4 in Europe in September, and it will be priced at €399 (about $475). The handset will arrive in the United States sometime this fall, but there’s no word on just when yet. Word on U.S. pricing hasn’t been revealed yet, either.

While the new Moto X4 is a mid-range handset, the physical build of the device should attract plenty of attention, plus its features, including Amazon Alexa integration.
