The Moto 360 was officially announced for India last month, but Motorola chose not to reveal info on the watch’s release date in the country nor its pricing. Today, Indian retailer Flipkart, which will be the exclusive sales partner for the Moto 360 in India, has finally given the watch an official price.
The Moto 360 has been priced at Rs. 17,999 (approx. $292) in India, which is more or less equal to the $299 price tag the watch commands in the US. Unfortunately, the watch is still listed as “coming soon,” though it’s likely Indian consumers will be able to get their hands on what is the most beautiful Android Wear smartwatch yet before this month is over.
The Moto 360 is the third smartwatch in the market that runs on Android Wear, Google’s new platform for wearables. It features a 1.56-inch 320×290 circular LCD display, a TI OMAP 3 processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage. The watch also has a 320 mAh battery that has begun offering better than average battery life with a recent update, and is compatible with any device running Android 4.3 or above.
