Moto 360 2nd gen.

Motorola today launched the 2nd generation Moto 360 in India. Like other devices from the company, the Moto 360 2nd gen. will be available exclusively through Flipkart and Myntra.

Motorola has launched both 42mm and 46mm variants of the smartwatch in India. The price for the watch starts from Rs. 19,999 for the 42mm variant with a gold leather strap. The watch with metal bands has been priced at Rs. 22,999, while the pricing for the 46mm version starts from Rs. 23,999.

The 42mm variant of the 2nd gen. Moto 360 comes with a 1.37-inch display with a resolution of 360 x 330, while the 46mm variant comes with a 1.56-inch display with 360 x 330 pixels. Under the hood, the 2nd gen. smartwatch from Motorola is powered by a Snapdragon 410 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz and 512MB RAM. It also comes with a substantially larger battery (300mAh or 32mm and 400mAh for 46mm) that allows it to last for a day on a single charge with Ambient mode on.

At Rs. 19,999, the 2nd gen. Moto 360 has been priced slightly higher compared to its predecessors launch price, and if you go in for the 46mm variant, the price jump is even higher. Considering that other Android Wear powered smartwatches are not available in India, interested customers in India don’t really have a choice except for buying the Moto 360.
