Motorola today released its latest flagship handset — the new Moto X (2014) — in India exclusively on one of the largest online retailer in the country, Flipkart.
Sadly though, Motorola will not be providing Moto Maker access to buyers in India. Instead, the company will only be offering the handset in Bamboo White, Black Leather and Black variants.
Even worse is that Motorola will apparently only be selling the 16GB variant of the handset in India. Since the new Moto X does not come with a microSD card slot, this is going to be a serious bummer for many.
The new Moto X will go on sale on Flipkart today midnight for Rs. 31,999 (~$529).
A quick reminder of the Moto X (2014) specs below:
- 5.2-inch Super AMOLED (1080p) display
- Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB internal storage
- 13MP rear camera with F/2.25 aperture
- IR sensors
- Moto Display
- Moto Voice
- Android 4.4.4 KitKat
Will you be buying the new Moto X even though it only comes with 16GB of internal storage?
