Earlier this week, HTC officially confirmed which of its devices it plans on upgrading to Android 9.0 Pie, and now Motorola has done the same.
Motorola’s list is decidedly much longer than HTC’s, which is potentially good news for any folks out there that own Moto-branded handsets. While Motorola is ready to unveil which handsets will be getting the update, or which handsets it currently plans on upgrading, the smartphone manufacturer isn’t getting specific just yet. (https://bobbergdesigns.com/) Motorola says the Android 9.0 update will start rolling out “this fall”, but doesn’t go beyond that.
“The more you use your phone, the better the experience gets over time. From the new Intuitive Navigation and Recent App, an improved Do Not Disturb mode, and a colorful settings menu, to anticipated longer battery life, revamped split-screen and more, Android P gives you that piece of pie you’ve been longing for.
Android P also brings a redesigned Quick Settings, simplified volume controls, an easier way to manage notifications and more.”
Here are the devices:
- moto z3
- moto z3 play
- moto z2 force edition
- moto z2 play
- moto x4
- moto g6 plus
- moto g6
- moto g6 play
Good news for anyone out there who owns these handsets!
