Motorola has announced its deals for Cyber Monday 2015, which will be running throughout the week starting next week. Sadly, the company is not offering any discount on any of its latest gen. products which includes the likes of the Moto X Pure and the 2nd. gen Moto 360.
Instead, the company is taking advantage of Cyber Monday to give hefty discounts on its 2014 lineup of products and likely clear its leftover stock. The Cyber Monday deals that Motorola is offering are as follows:
- The 2nd gen. Moto X (64GB) will see its price drop from $399.99 to only $299.99
- The 1st gen. Moto 360 will be available at a discount of up to 50% that will see its price drop to $149.99
- The 2nd gen. Moto G will be available for only $99 for a 24-hour period between Nov. 30 11AM CT to Dec. 1, 10:59 AM CT.
The deals on the Moto X and the 1st gen. Moto 360 will be available from Nov. 30 through December 7.
None of the deals from Motorola are really enticing enough in my opinion. While $299.99 is a great price for a 2nd gen Moto X with 64GB of storage space, the handset is easily outgunned by other mid-range smartphones available in the market today in the same price range.
As for the 1st gen. Moto 360, it is usually available for $99 through Amazon or eBay, so you will actually be paying a premium of $50 if you end up buying the smartwatch from Motorola.
