Motorola is going to announce the Moto X today, at long last. Whether or not they have an event that will be live streamed is something I haven’t yet figured out yet. If you have any tips, I’d appreciate it. Anyway, the guys at Android Police have discovered a new Chrome Extension in the Chrome Web Store from none other than Motorola. Check out the description.

“Motorola Connect allows you to see text messages and calls coming into your Connect enabled phone on your computer’s Chrome browser. You can read and respond to texts using your keyboard and even know who’s calling before deciding if you should reach for your phone.”

It should be noted that this is not just a Moto X feature, apparently this is also compatible with the recently announced Droids from Verizon Wireless. But back to the Moto X for a second, what do we know about? It’ll have a 720p screen and a dual core Snapdragon from Qualcomm. It’s also been leaked more times than I care to count.

Like I said, this device will be official later today, likely around 20:00 London time.
