It has been less than 24 hours since Google unveiled Android 4.4 KitKat but Motorola has already announced which all devices it will be upgrading to Android 4.4 KitKat.
The company upgrade pages list all of its latest DROID branded handsets (Mini, Ultra and Ultra Max) and the Moto X to be eligible for the Android 4.4 KitKat update. It also looks like Motorola will be skipping the Android 4.3 update for these devices, and directly update them to Android 4.4 KitKat.
The company’s support page does not mention anything about its older devices getting the update though.
Since the Moto X and its siblings run on near stock build of Android, it would be interesting to see how quickly Motorola is able to update the handset.
