On June 9th Motorola is planning to launch its next Android flagship, a modular smart phone christened the Moto Z. Though the specs and designs have been speculated for a while, this render, shows the different colour variants the phone will be available in — Silver, Gold and Rose Gold (though these might not be the official names for the colours).

Though the image quality is poor, and it only gives us a side glimpse of the device, there is enough detail present to safely say that this is not dissimilar to the previous Moto Z designs we have come to be familiar with. It has the same side button layout, and from the looks of it, the large camera bump is still present.

From previous reports and rumours, there is speculation that users will be able to personalise the device using different back panels — Moto Mods which are attachments to give the device a semblance of modular capability. This would help give the device added capability when Motorola releases additional MODS in the long run.

Either ways, the device will launch on Thursday, which would allow us to have a better idea on what the device brings in terms of capability and design.
