Motorola’s latest budget wonder, the Moto G5 Plus, will be making its way to the US shores on March 31 for $229, with pre-orders starting on March 24.

The $229 variant will sport 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage, with the 4GB/64GB variant setting you back by $299. In addition to Motorola’s online store, the Moto G5 Plus will also be available on Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Newegg, Walmart, Ting, B&G, and other popular retailers in the US.

Motorola will also be offering the Moto G5 Plus through Amazon’s Prime Exclusive program under which the handset will come pre-bundled with a bunch of Amazon apps and services. Amazon will also periodically push ads on the lock screen. All this will allow you to get the handset for a slightly lower price. The 2GB/32GB variant can then be yours for $185, while the 4GB/64GB variant will be available for $240 — a nice $60 discount from their official price.

The Moto G5 Plus is easily one of the best budget Android handsets to launch this year. Powered by Qualcomm’s excellent Snapdragon 625 chipset, the handset sports a 12MP f/1.7 shooter at its rear that can take some impressive photos. The handset also runs on a near-stock build of Android 7.0 Nougat that makes it an impressive performer.

Do note that the Moto G5 Plus units sold in the US will not come with NFC so you will not be able to use Android Pay on it. In addition, the handset will only be available for purchase unlocked and not through any carrier.
