Motorola could very well have two new Moto G-branded devices coming down the pipe, and now Lenovo’s CEO may have just revealed when the devices could see the light of day.
Over the last several weeks, devices known as the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus have surfaced, showing off a familiar overall design, but also promoting fingerprint readers on the front and slightly updated rear camera enclosures. Unfortunately, any additional information regarding specifications have not been forthcoming.
Still, Lenovo’s CEO, Yang Yuanqing, may have revealed when the devices will show up:
“Yang Yuanqing, Lenovo’s CEO, said Motorola will be releasing a new device on June 9, but the model name and other details have not been revealed yet. Mr. Yang added that the new product will nothing less than “exciting”.”
Rumors suggest that the Moto G4 Plus could be the only model to feature the fingerprint reader on the front, but some suggest laser autofocus could be present in both models.
