Motorola today launched the Moto G Turbo Edition in India. As its name suggests, the ‘Turbo’ edition Moto G is a supercharged version of the Moto G (2015).
The handset was first launched by Motorola in Brazil in early November.
The Turbo edition Moto G is almost similar to the 3rd gen. Moto G, and comes with a 5-inch 720p display, a water and dirt repellant design, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, and a 2,470mAh sealed battery. The camera setup on the handset — 13MP F/2.0 rear shooter and 5MP selfie shooter — also remain the same as the 3rd gen. Moto G.
The only difference is in the chipset: while the 3rd gen Moto G is powered by a Snapdragon 410 chipset, the Turbo edition is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset. Another notable addition is the presence of Quick Charge 2.0 on the Turbo Edition that allows it to last for an additional 6 hours after being charged for only 15 minutes.
The Moto G Turbo Edition is already available for sale through Flipkart in India for Rs. 14,449.
