Earlier this week, the Moto G went up for sale on Motorola’s website in the United States, with the handset expected to ship by 2nd December. Joining Motorola today is Amazon, which has also listed the handset up for pre-order.
Amazon is selling the handset for the same price as Motorola – $179 for the 8GB model and $199 for the 16GB – which for the specs of the handset is a darn good deal. Amazon will be shipping the handset from 4th December, two days after Motorola starts shipping it.
A quick reminder of the Moto G specs, if you have forgotten why everyone is raving so much about it.

Motorola has also stated that the Moto G will get KitKat by January next year, further sweeting the deal.
The Moto G was unveiled earlier this month, and was expected to go on sale in the United States early next year with KitKat pre-installed. However, Motorola had a change of heart and decided to launch the handset a month early in the States without KitKat.
