For anyone who owns the Moto G under Boost Mobile’s banner, there’s an over the air update headed your way that should make you a happy camper.

Motorola has officially unveiled the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for the Moto G for Boost Mobile. As you can imagine, there are plenty of changes and tweaks under the hood, including updates to the camera, Motorola Alert, and an updated phone dialer:

  • Android 4.4.4, KitKat, is the latest release of the Android platform. This release includes accuracy improvements to the power profile, several stability, framework and security fixes including update to OpenSSL.
  • Added the ability to pause video recording with a convenient pause/resume button on the viewfinder.
  • Updated Phone dialler with a new graphical layout and colours to improve consistency and usability.
  • New Motorola Alert application sends periodic alerts with your location to your selected contacts. Now available for download from the Google Play Store.
