Pictures and alleged specs of the Moto G (2015) have made their way to the Internet. Motorola usually unveils its new devices in July or August, so this leak has shown up at just about the right time.

From the leaked pictures, the front of the handset looks similar to the Moto E (2015), while the back now features a metallic looking vertical plastic strip for housing the camera and LED flash.

As for the specs, the leaker claims that it will come with a 5-inch screen, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 5MP selfie camera, 13MP rear shooter and a Snapdragon 410 processor.

If true, these specs are not as impressive as other mid-range phones available in emerging countries like India and China from Xiaomi, Lenovo and others. The lack of 2GB RAM is especially disappointing, which would have made a huge impact during multitasking on the phone.

Nonetheless, these leaked specs should be taken with a pinch of salt until it is corroborated by other leaks, or Motorola officially launches the handset.
