Google has just dropped the price of the first generation Moto 360 on the Google Store to only $99. The original Moto 360 might not have the best battery life and powerful internals as other newer Android Wear smartwatches, but it can still give them a run for their money in the looks department.

Motorola had previously dropped the price of the Moto 360 to $149.99 on the Google Store and its own online store in the U.S. in July this year.

As a first generation Moto 360 owner, I can confidently say that at $99 the smartwatch is a steal provided you can live with its strictly mediocre battery life.

However with Black Friday coming up, other retailers should also offer similar deals on the Moto 360 in a bid to clear out their stock. So, if you are not in a hurry, it is recommend that you wait and look for better deals over the next week or so.
