Last month, developer Paul O’Brien released MoDaCo.SWITCH for HTC One owners. SWITCH allows One owners to dual-boot between Sense and a AOSP based ROM at the toggle of a switch. Compared to other dual-boot implementation, SWITCH allows for sharing of installed apps and their data between the ROMs.
Thanks to the success of SWITCH on the One, Paul O’Brien started an IndieGoGo campaign to bring his latest development to the Galaxy S4 as well. The campaign met with huge success and more than met its goal. Now, Paul has released the first beta of MoDaCo.SWITCH for the Galaxy S4, which brings the goodness of TouchWIZ and AOSP into one ROM.

Like on the HTC One, Galaxy S4 owners can easily and quickly toggle between an AOSP and TouchWIZ based ROM by using the Switch app. For now, the MoDaCo.SWITCH for Galaxy S4 is only available for the IndieGoGo campaign backers, but will be eventually available to all S4 (I9505) owners once it is stable enough for daily use.
Paul is also planning on bringing MoDaCo.SWITCH to the Nexus family of devices, with the ability to dual boot the stock AOSP ROM with OTA update support and CM nightlies support as the secondary ROM.
