In November 2014, Microsoft released a limited preview build for its Office for Android tablets app, which was specifically meant to ascertain feedback from the users that tried it ahead of any kind of public launch, which is still slated for 2015.

Leading up to the official launch, though, Microsoft has some more testing it wants to do out in the real world. As a result, Microsoft has just opened up the public preview of Office for Android tablets, which means that the app is now available for free within the Google Play store. The previous requirements of the app are still present, though, meaning that the Android tablet in question has to be between seven- and 10.1-inches. Microsoft is still openly requesting feedback from users of the app, too. (https://www.kambioeyewear.com/)

Office for Android tablets has been a long time coming, and follows the smartphone version of the app which was released earlier in 2014.

Have you tried it out yet? What do you think of it?
