Relatively cheap smartphones don’t necessarily mean they are bad phones anymore. Meizu, for instance, aims to launch worthwhile handsets without breaking the bank.

The newest Meizu-branded smartphone continues that trend. This week, the smartphone company officially announced the Note9. It features a 6.2-inch display with a 2244×1080 resolution. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor under the hood, which is coupled with either 4GB of RAM or 6GB of RAM. There are two models that offer 64GB of built-in storage (either 4GB RAM or 6GB of RAM with that storage), and one option with 128GB that has 4GB of RAM. There is no memory card slot for expandable storage.

The battery measures in at 4000mAh, and the handset is running Android 9.0 Pie underneath Meizu’s proprietary Flyme 7.2 UI. There are two cameras on the back: 48MP primary shooter and a 5MP secondary sensor. Around front there is a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Meizu Note9 is priced at 1398 Yuan (~$208 USD). It is available in China in Luster Blue, Black, and White.
