The company did not reveal the capacity of the battery, so don’t expect the same charging speeds when you charge a phone with a 3,000mAh or 4.000mAh battery.

Pump Express 3.0 uses the USB Type-C Power Delivery to deliver such fast charging speeds, with the company claiming an efficiency of 95%. The company also claims that the latest Pump Express reduces power dissipation by 50% and that it comes with over 20 safety mechanisms to monitor the voltage being supplied to the phone and its temperature. The company has also used some of the technology it acquired from RichTek to control keep the heating issues in check.

Pump Express 3.0 will be supported by MediaTek’s Helio P20 chipsets that are due to be launched later this year.
