The Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4 have already received their fair share of Lollipop love courtesy of some leaked videos. However, the firmware for the devices have not leaked for the flashing pleasure of Galaxy S5 or Galaxy S4 owners.
Luckily for Galaxy S5 owners on Sprint, an Android 5.0 Lollipop based TouchWiz firmware has made its way to the Internet. The firmware is based on the very latest code of Lollipop (LRX21T) from Google. Basic functionality like phone calls, messaging and mobile data have already been confirmed to work on this firmware. It is, however, not yet known if other advanced features like GPS, Wi-Fi and sensors are broken or not.
Do note that flashing this build will void the warranty of your Galaxy S5. You will also not be able to receive the final Lollipop OTA from Sprint, whenever the carrier officially starts rolling it out.
Flashing the firmware will require you to know your way around ODIN. It will also wipe the handset of all your data, so make sure to create backups before you start the flashing procedure.
